A suitably regal image for my 300th blip, Osaka Castle looking magnificent amid the red and golden trees. An auspicious starting point for the Osaka Marathon. I ran the route today, as close as I could using the route map posted on the Osaka Marathon website. I got lost a couple of times for sure, especially at the beginning, so it is possible that I ran further than 42 kilometres. That might explain my slow time; 5 hours and 15 minutes as opposed to my previous time of 4 hours and 45 minutes. I'll try to do better on the actual day, November 25th. On the bright side, at least I know I can keep running for over 5 hours.
