Peaks and turbines in the cloud

The sky was just clearing as I walked Jasper this morning, and by the time we got back to the village the sun was out and the sky blue.

We've had an awful lot of rain in the last month, much more than is usual in the autumn, with at least 20,000 litres going into our cisterna at the Mas. That's enough to last us a year even if we were living there all the time. It used to be normal to also have a couple of heavy downpours in the spring, but that hasn't really happened for the last couple of years and we may get no more at all for another year.

However, I'm glad we're not in the Pyrenees... they've got snow forecast and the winds are set to reach 8-10 on the Beaufort scale.
