Pumpkin

I was stupid this morning, because I took the dog out for his walk with my knee support on the wrong knee. Of course I realised what I'd done as soon as I began walking, but I had to wait until I got into the countryside before I could swap it over, and hope that a tractor didn't come round the bend until I'd finished! And yes, thank you for asking, the knee is feeling much better :-)

I've changed the photo for something more interesting than my knee, one quarter of a huge pumpkin that I was given last week and which is going into the pan for soup in a minute. It's the biggest pumpkin that I've ever seen and I rather think I'll be making more than one batch of soup, and yes I'm saving lots of the seeds too.
