Rose Street Singers

Voices are wonderful things aren't they? Especially if they sound like Lucie and Monica's.

I have heard Lucie and Monica sing a few times as their chosen pitch (no pun intended!) isn't too far from my office. Luckily for me, they were singing today and I not only asked if I could photograph them but also if I could record them and you can listen to that recording here.

Lucie graduated from Edinburgh University and hopes to go to Trinity College next year and Monica is at present studying classical music at Napier and I sincerely wish them both well for the future.

Ps The chinking sound you can hear midway in the recording is people putting some well deserved coins in their hat.


PPs Monica isn't saluting. The poor girl has a very high sensitivity to sunlight and I, being the bad person that I am, insisted she stand in it to have her photo taken.
