It's burning!!

Yesterday we had a bit of a disaster, to put it mildly and this was the result!  I put some fresh beetroot in a pan to cook  and with the two little ones to look after promptly forgot all about it!  The door to the hall being closed we didn't smell a thing.  When I finally went into the kitchen the beetroot had a half cm crust of charcoal round it!  Surprisingly enough the inside was actually edible!  But the whole house smells of burnt - apart from the front room!  But my stainless steel pan has turned a blue colour in parts!  If anyone has any good ideas on how to get rid of burnt smell: i'm all ears!!

Today digital group all three of us!  we tried a tutorial about infrared effect in Photoshop that wasn't much good and then tried this fun effect.  See extra!

Little Missy has just arrived and is staying at least two nights!  Off  to make a meal!  We have her all day tomorrow and on Thursday she is back to nursery!
