All Saints, Maidstone
The weather improved this afternoon, which meant we could walk into town for my rearranged visit to the dentist. Late afternoon sun shone on the mostly nameless headstones in the churchyard overlooking the River Medway, catching the tops of the stones and casting Bright light amongst the shadows.
The morning had been a time of chores and a bit of work. Oh, and in between all the action I made some hot cross buns, only minus the cross as the paste was too thin, spreading everywhere and disappearing. I couldn’t find the piping bag so was reduced to piping the liquid through a small hole in the corner cut in a plastic sandwich bag.
