Our penultimate Easter assembly at Mary Webb this morning. We always love getting to see our favourite teacher but I'm secretly jealous that she calls the Ellies 'Ellz' and I don't have a nickname.

We also had an Easter event at college and roped in some of students we support on a Tuesday. Good times. One guy went to the trouble of bringing back his free chocolate egg because 'he doesn't like Jesus'. Fair enough.

Last week, ES had her six month review. It's great to hear her enthusiasm and the fact that she can't believe she gets to do this job. 5 years on and I feel exactly the same.

This evening was spent making vegan chocolate, banana and peanut butter brownies for Ellz' birthday and flatbreads ready for our team hilltop communion tomorrow.
