Big fig

After a morning in the office I headed to the Botanics for a meeting of NDPB CEOs.

Some interesting discussions on fraud, pay, GDPR (I live my life in acronyms).

On my way out I passed one of the display cases in which this large fruit was displayed. The label said “Ficus Catica”.

I was a bit surprised on getting home to Google to discover this is a common fig. One that size is certain not common on our supermarket shelves.
