A trip out to get some sushi for lunch - sunny enough to sit out, but that keen NE wind makes it a bit of a challenge.
And who was in the vicinity but MrT and W! So we sat out and shivered awhile with them too.
After bag packing we were off to RGBE - or the Botanics as I know it. For there is a year long arts project called Shoreline which aims to involve all the coastal communities along Edinburgh’s 27km coastline. Here’s Hans Clausen doing his bit to get the creative juices flowing.
I tried hard to keep the cynicism in check. Someone has managed to get some money. There’s a community tick box. We may get a seafood festival out of it if we’re lucky - if I can get Waitrose’s sushi counter involved.
And then, home for a three course meal! A bit of a seafood festival, well for starters. But probably not quite inclusive and diverse enough for arts funding.
