Had brunch with a friend over in Ballard this morning at a place called Porkchop. It's one of those places that is owned/operated by someone who loves food - they take such care with the food (which is also creative) and try to use locally-sourced ingredients. I had some soft-cooked eggs which apparently take an hour to cook. Not sure how that works but they were good. Also had a biscuit with homemade jam and butter. That was delicious.
Salem and I walked down to the pond this afternoon and we finally had some warm sunshine. This pond looks like it could be out in the county but in reality, it is surrounded by homes.
