It's Cherry Blossom weekend around here - there are dozens of the trees at UW and I hear that the campus is mobbed by people this weekend to take pictures with the cherry blossoms and the stately buildings in the background.

This photo was taken along a driveway into an apartment complex (see extra). I saw it yesterday as I rode by on my bike and decided to go back today to take a few pictures. They are so beautiful.

Son and I went to get breakfast at a place down by the U but it was mobbed to we settled for bagels at Grateful Bread in our neighborhood. Took Salem for a walk, now I'm going to get comfy in a chair outside and read a bit. The weather today is simply amazing.
