Castell Henleys

We went to this fabulous Iron Age fort which has been reconstructed on the original site just down the coast from Cardigan, near Newport and which pulled off the amazing feat of actually keeping all the members of the Prime Family interested for an hour or so (even Hector liked it!) Suitably inspired, we went into Newport itself afterwards and tracked down the remains of the Carreg Coetan Burial Mound as well. They were pretty evocative too, despite being rather curiously situated in an enclosure at the end of a modern cul-de-sac...
