Painted Nails

The woman who cleans our apartment once a week, Petra, has become much more than a just a housecleaner. She watches over our plants, teaches us Spanish, and now paints my wife's toenails. For some reason known only to her, but perhaps explained to us in Spanish more complex than I am able to comprehend, she decided my wife's purple nails needed a bit of sparkle. She brought the polish and applied to all ten toes before she started her day of cleaning (and not even our place but other apartments in the complex).
