all in a whirl
I stood there photographing this sensuous little ripple in the Gill Beck at dusk and the 40 or so shots were all different. After being lost in space time for a while I realised we were going to be late for tea: requiring a heroic fording of the full beck and a long uphill gallop.
There was a spraint of some kind on the side of the weir below the bridge at Tong Park. It was probably too small and not black and gloopy enough for Otter but can't be sure. I'm glad I seem to be allowed an extra because I didn't want to lose the sluice above the dam in it's glory.
The first Chiffchaff was singing at Hollins Hill a couple of days ago.
