Before

I had been dreading today ever since I arranged for Marc to come and put new flooring down in Daisy’s bedroom. But it didn’t take too long in the end to completely empty it and take the carpet up. She is back in with a mattress on the floor, complaining it is cold. I ignore her.

Otherwise, supermarket and a storm of cooking to make the fridge full and removing the need for future cooking for the rest of the week. The extra two days have given me a proper break from work racing and swirling round my head, now I have a four day and a three day week coming up so it’s not all over yet.
