Early Yewletide

My plans to spend the day in the garden have been completely scuppered by some crazy weather. When I moved into the house one of my first thoughts were, 'the yew tree has to go', mainly because it's been plonked in the middle of nowhere in the garden and it's a scraggly old shape. It's proving popular with visitors though, particularly my sister, who tells me that she will 'kill me if I chop it down'. She has fairly light plans for this tree in the run up to Christmas, so it's been rescued from the chop...for now, anyway.
