Vole...

..I'm so chuffed that these little ones will pop out in front of me! (They move pretty fast, and I don't find them easy to catch in an image).

It has felt almost like a Spring day today, the snow has all but disappeared.
There is much birdsong. Goldfinch, great tits, blue tits, long-tailed tits, chaffinch, of course the robin (!) and four ducks made an appearance as well as the voles.

Real life called however, and I couldn't sit for very long.

Himself has done some pollarding... High (high!) on a ladder. I'm not sure this is a good idea for a Man of a Certain Age, but he is as pleased as a dog with two tails.

So there it is, for the 3rd April.
