A Very Sad Morning

Dear Diary,

Another tragedy has befallen my family.  My cousin Mary's daughter died Monday night by suicide.  She was 55 years old.  This is Mary at a much happy moment in her life, right after the birth of her son Bobby in 1963.  Bobby died two years ago of ALS at 52.  Mary's sister's daughter died this past November from an accidental overdose.  So much sadness in one family.

Everyone is stunned beyond belief by Rochelle's suicide as it seemingly came out of the blue.  There will be a police investigation of course but right now there are only questions and incomprehension. No note of explanation has been found. 

It is pouring rain this morning and that seems appropriate.  I am thankful it isn't snow but, honestly, at this point I really don't care what the weather does.
