Joyful juniors
I do love these 2!!
We decided to take some time to do something fun as a family this afternoon - Asha only has 3 holidays from school a year and it seems wrong to not do some fun things with her... We decided to seek out crazy golf as Asha loves it. Our usual place hasn't reopened for summer yet, but we found somewhere else that was SO lovely.
Later in the day we headed to the park to meet up with a few of the families from school - one of Asha's old classmates was back from Italy for a few days, so a few of us got together to have a picnic with her. It was a really lovely time. The parenting of Nate was shared out amongst us 5 parents, ha!
We were worn out by the time we got home!
And now the kids are in bed and Danny's writing a theology essay and I'm editing photos for a magazine for the art project guys.
Drama of the day;
1) Discovering an exploded bottle of Cava in the freezer...we'd forgotten about it yesterday! The Caña Clubbers have taken full responsibility for not drinking enough! Haha!
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Days that really feel like mini holidays. So good to have a change of scenery and be together.
2) The school parents - they feel more and more like friends.
3) Nick being pleased with the photos to date.
