Gigha and Jura from Point Sands

9.4C with sunny sunshine all day long. Cloud building through the afternoon.
Moderate WSW/W/SSE breeze.

After lunch Fergus and I got my car and I drove us to Tayinloan.

We walked along the beach to see the wreck of the Island Queen, then carried on walking right along the beach and round the bay at Point Sands holiday (caravan) park. There are good clear views past Gigha to Jura from the point. The ferry went over to Gigha from Tayinloan and had come back before we got back to the car park by Big Jessie's tearoom. Fergus had a little snooze in the back seat of the car on the way home.
