UTA and Sea Harmony

11C dull, cloudy, with a few showers. ESE/S wind to 29 mph with gusts to 40 mph.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, had a potter round the old quay, and went out along the shore side of the park. UTA was at one side of the new quay offloading sheet steel for more wind turbine building and Sea Harmony was at the other side, taking on wood.

The wind was so strong and noisy as we walked along the park that I could hardly hear my podcast so we walked as far as the cemetery then came back the same way but along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).

Fergus was limping a bit this morning. If he gets a stone or a twig in a paw he lifts whichever leg has a problem way up in the air and hops along. I had had a look at both back paws and found nothing. He did it again on this afternoon's walk and on closer inspection I could see a spot of blood and a tiny cut in a pad. I have cleaned it for him since we came home and will watch out for further limping.
