The best car park baa none

It's been a beautiful day so we went to do the final part of our curlew and lapwing survey.  Unfortunately this area would never have the birds on as the habitat isn't right (we knew this really as it is an area where we often walk). I'll let the organisers know - perhaps we'd be of more use in a different place.

It was still a lovely walk and we could see some snow remaining on the Berwyns.

When we got back to the car there were a number of sheep around it. We get busy car parks around here! The sheep were en route to the farm on their own and were having a break by my car on the way. The farmer was nearby and there's very little traffic on the lane so he must have been confident that they'd be ok.
