A glorious day, I cannot remember the last one!!

We headed out to Digby Fen to a patchwork material shop, a 45 minute drive from home, so not somewhere you pop in when passing. I needed some extra supplies for two projects that I'm working on and was spoiled for choice. 

I had to be very controlled as they have so much beautiful material in stock. I bought what I need and just looked at options for later projects.

As we came back I stopped at Scopwick to take pictures of the stream that runs alongside the road through the village. I thought that the water level would have been higher as the fields that we passed were absolutely sodden and had numerous lakes in them!! 

I've put another picture in extras to show that it was blue out front and behind! No great black cloud creeping up behind you!!!

A very productive afternoon, I'm actually ahead of the game and all prepared for tomorrow's activities!!
