Titanium
Pre op assessment at the new hospital today. Met the Consultant I met on the NHS last week. I hadn't warmed to him then but, weirdly, I now think he's great. I learned more about the procedure I've already had done today than I'd picked up in 2 months. I had been really confused about how he'd know where to go now there's no lump to look for. It turns out that I've had 4 titanium (tit, ha ha) clips put in to help future surgeons. He said the procefure would take 30 minutes and he'd take (I think) half a centimetre from the area identified. I asked ''is that enough? Can't you take more, just to be sure?". Yes, he can, he drew a new picture, explained it all, said it would take maybe an extra 15 minutes. Deal.
No food after 6am tomorrow so I made the world's largest roast dinner, you'd think it was Christmas!
Elsewhere, I wandered round the house looking for a blip. This is not where this lamp and lady will live permanently but it's where they are today. You have no idea how annoying that white light switch is. That's going to have to go.
