Leaning

Last day in Italy. We spent our last day in Italy with my in-laws and before boarding our plane, we managed to spend an afternoon in Pisa. We have been before, on several occasions and it brought back good memories. The first time we came, we went up the tower and were astonished to discover that tourists were left to walk round the tower without any parapet. Nowadays, i note there are railings to keep you safe but back in the day, I remember feeling alarmed by how little regard there was for safety as the marble was so smooth and well worn; it was a pretty scary experience!
