Fighter

Today I did something that I thought I would never do.
I went with my son in law to a MMA event. Mixed Martial Arts, or as people may wrongly know it, Cage Fighting, is nothing like I thought it would be.
Sure it is an almost, and I must stress the word " almost" no holds barred raw fighting spectacle; but a great deal of it involves grappling on the mat, wrestling style.
This is a picture, a picture of despair as one of the losing Fighters contemplates what could have been.
Unlike boxing though, the fighters don't snarl at each other and exude hate, they give each other friendly hugs after each bout.
