Sock it to'em JB....

A mostly dry but dull day . Yesterday's staff shortage cured by a full turn out. The fact that it was pay day may have helped !
Mucking cows out and bedding proved exciting as ground conditions for spreading were a tad on the soft side . Got there eventually though.
Spotted three empty feed lick buckets causing a blockage in the road side burn so stopped to fish them out . Managed that OK , but the leap back over the raging torrent of melt water was less successful resulting in a wellie full to the brim of very cold water. Spent the rest of the day squelching around sockless on one foot.
The said wellie is now propped up in front of the AGA overnight to dry out. Will be fine until the terrier chews a hole in it.
