Bigger 'crash' in large.

Crazy weather today... blizzard-overcast-windy-cold, then the sun came out, then the blizzard came back, then more sun.  One common denominator in all this wild weather was the cold... it was very cold all day long.

During one of the sunshine moments, I happened upon some common mergansers.  They were riding the 3-4 foot waves on the bay.  The above shot is of the female caught in a crashing wave.  To get a better idea of how rough the water was, pop on over to flickr.  I added a few shots of her and her mate plus an idea of how the day started out during one of the blustering snow sessions.  The images hardly look like they're from the same day!
