Needless To Say We Got A Refund...

Sushi’s birthday today and it was really lovely to be off work/school and have an early morning present opening session. We had a lovely breakfast out and a relaxing day at home.

We had a surprise visit from an old university friend and her new fella, who seems really lovely. She’s the kind of person who you can hear long before her arrival and brightens every room she enters, so it was lovely to see her.

We went for a family birthday meal in Beverley and parked near this beautiful church. We had a lovely meal but got a bit of a shock when I found pieces of glass on our cheese board...needless to say we got a refund and lots of apologies!
