Lets Fly Away

Gavin was going to Coldstream today on the team coach with his grandad to the football. Euan was going up the skateboard park with his pals so Cheryl and I decided to go to Edinburgh Airport to take some photos of the aeroplanes.

When I told my mother-in-law later where we had been and what we were doing, she said we were off our heads but its ok as she doesn't understand. It was freezing there today standing in the middle of a field waiting on the planes taking off and landing. I took many shots but it took me about 4 take offs and 3 landings till I got a picture I was pleased with, so after about an hour standing in the cold shivering with camera poised this is the best one in my opinion , a KLM Airways plane on its way to Amsterdam no doubt.

3 weeks on Wednesday it will be us back at the Airport but not taking photos. This time it will be us who are saying lets fly away.
