Spring activity

We had lots of bird activity in the garden this morning. The blue tits have returned and definitely seem to be occupying the bird box we put up last spring. It obviously hasn’t got that new smell any longer. We had several goldfinches in the garden as well and they have just revisited this evening as I write this entry. I had better not prune their perches. We regularly have a pair of blackbirds so I am well pleased. Living near the coast we have gull activity as well which is not so welcome.
