After my morning's work in the South Parish I stopped by St Mary's Church in Burwick. There are many interesting grave stones but the blip is of one in memory of the first minister of the parish with this unusual-looking chain round it.

The church hasn't been used for regular services for 20 years, but last year there was news that a charitable trust had been set up to save the building and open it as a heritage centre. 

Highlight of the morning was hearing frogs on the pond near where I was gardening.
