Pentland Longo

I was grateful to spend the morning under the expert tutelage of SparseRunner on a long orienteering route in the Pentlands. The weather was fine, even mild, but the underfoot conditions not so.
We startled an Owl (we thought) as we splashed through the Kitchen Moss, a very elegant looking bird.
Penicuik Estate looked very interesting as we trotted through, I look forward to a return visit.
