Hanging Out

The weather forecast suggested that it was going to rain all day so when I saw the sun first thing I headed straight out into the garden. At that moment the BBC website was telling me there was a 100% chance of rain. Not quite. I was able to get a walk in and enjoy some lovely light, arriving back home just as the rain did eventually arrive.

I was soon descended upon for a lad's day of watching sport: the first game of the IPL, the riveting Manchester derby game in the Premiership, the F1 Qualifying and then an evening at Augusta. I couldn't do that every day, but a chill-out in front of the TV with a few beers and some father-son banter is a great tonic.
