Magnolia

My magnolia tree (and being located three miles from a wonderful big Waitrose) was one of the factors that persuaded me to buy this house nine years ago.

I’ve blipped the tree every year and that is a certain way of noting when it blooms. Several of them are nearly open today.

It’s nearly a full month later than last year, but you can’t blame them for hiding from the snow, rain, and iffy temperatures. My first bloom was blipped on March 15th last year, and by April it was nearly over and “blowsy”.

I’ve also hyacinths, cowslips, and my seriously late daffodils.
