Talk of the town

Came over to Edinburgh this afternoon in ever deteriorating weather - dull, drizzly and gloomy now. No chance for a Blip en route in the poor conditions, so this rather bad picture is part of the talk I'll be giving this evening to the Scottish Rock Garden Club at Edinburgh Botanics.

Straight off to the Isle of Bute tomorrow for our ferny help day at Ascog Hall - hope the weather's better than this!
