Roses on a rainy Rishton Sunday

I braved the elements and walked briskly to the Christian Fellowship.
We have a lively Church band to which has now been added a proper drum set. If you enjoy quieter worship this is not the place for you!
Cherie and Allen's daughter Sharon has been having drum lessons and this morning played wonderfully confidently, and it added to the keyboard, electric guitar and folk guitar. I have a tambourine and love singing praise songs. Tony spoke on how we should inhabit the land God points out to us and have confidence and strong faith as we face challenging times. Keep a song in your heart.
We have it very cold again. low light and steady rain with a strong breeze.
Arthur has curled up on a pile of my T-shirts, dreaming of sunnier days no doubt!
I noticed these beautiful roses outside the Co-op as I popped in to buy the Mail on Sunday.
It is very drab and dreich out there and the roses were a high point, but £5 a bunch meant I photographed them and then they will last longer.
I would sooner buy an expensive glossy to read if I had an extra fiver!
Looking forward to Songs of Praise. Points of View. Downton and the X Factor.
Love the diversity of television.
Have a nice Sunday.
