Sunrise over Ulverston

Woke up with an orange glow coming throught the curtains at 6am this morning. Opened the curtains and went onto the balcony and just had to snap, before my caffiene boost. We'd asked for a cafetiere of coffee to be brought up at 8. The bay is wide and very shallow. There are warnings all over which warn people to keep their dogs off the sand due to rip tides and quicksand. The warnings seemed to be enough as I didn't see anybody venture onto the sand, although lots were on the pathways around it. the tide goes out for miles and comes in quickly. There is a small 2 lane railway track which crosses from one side to the other and takes passengers and cargos. Home now, and catching up with the blips.

The house was still intact despite 2 teenagers being home alone.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, doesn't eat too much chocolate, and spares a thought for those that have to work. BooHoo.
