Takayama

What a busy day
Pretty and tasty breakfast
Miyagawa morning market
Hilda Folk village - old houses moved to allow hydro electric dam
Takayama Jinya, 17th century governor’s house - raining heavily now
Betsuin temple
Cherry blossom street by a stream, so pretty
Karakuri museum for a fantastic puppet show - blipped - as we were the only Europeans there I was asked to participate by accepting tea from the puppet. Neither of us spilled any.
Takayama Festival Floats exhibition
Back to ryokan for origami lesson where I made a very wonky crane
Hot tub
dinner
Email English speaking Dentist in Tokyo to try to get an appointment for a filling.
Now we need to throw down our mattresses and get some sleep as the train leaves at 7.30 am.

If you are exhausted reading this far, imagine how I am feeling!
