Day 102/18. Chasing a portrait style

A very rare selfie from me today.
I've always admired a certain lady photographer's style of portraiture. I've been determined for some time to duplicate their style and to understand the lighting and process.
With a free afternoon today and no model it was time to experiment.
The camera was triggered with a cable and after 217 shots and a lot of mucking about I think I got close to the look I was after......
