At last the garden is coming to life. Spotted this flower while touring it with my camera this morning.
We have had this rhododendron for seven years and for the first four years it did nothing so we moved it to a very sheltered spot in the garden with no direct sunlight and now it produces the most magnificent big blooms.
Its called McCabe, named after the former Deputy Commissioner, Naga Hills, NE India where this flower flourishes.
The big leaves create great architectural foliage but they don’t like wind.
