Piercefield House
A dry but overcast day throughout, saw us head for Piercefield House, next to Chepstow Racecourse (Wales, UK) for a circular walk along the River Wye. It's largely a neo-classical country house designed in the late 18th century and now a grade 2 listed building in a grade 1 historic landscape.
I'd like to say the walk was wholly enjoyable but the muddy footpaths made it hard work......it's going to be a while before it dries out. The blipfoto shows the house and one of the pavilions that flanks the house.
