Who'll stop the rain?
Despite the fact I'd altered my watch and changed the central heating clock here before I went to bed, I still woke with a jolt at 4.45 and went round checking and didn't quite believe all the other clocks which had miraculously changed themselves in the night. After ringing the speaking clock to make sure, I went back to bed. I'd said to Mom last night I must do the central heating or the clanking and banging pipes would wake me at 6. How batty am I? Nothing has woken me at 6 for years as I'm always flippin' awake!
I heard somewhere that you need less sleep as you get older. If that's true, I must be 180.
What am I going on about? No idea.
It's rained all day here and we've watched another three Hammer films while I've got a good way into a Kindle book written by Tim who used to work in the HR/Payroll section. He's been an English teacher for years now and the book is very funny! It's based heavily on his life of failures in the girlfriend department, drunken nights etc. and is very well written - One to a Million by Tim Cole (£1.92) if anyone's interested.
Carry On Screaming is on now as I write this. I'll go to the Glen Park after Homeland!
The photo was taken out of the living room window with my iPhone. It's rained all day but at least it's not cold. If I have a rainy day in Edinburgh, I'm going to see Skyfall!
Track - Creedance Clearwater Revival have done two rainy tracks. Here's one of them.
