Its a miracle!

Back home, all unpacked, everything laundered.....just the ironing to tackle now!

I really thought we would miss all the spring flowers that were showing their heads as we left just over two weeks ago....little did we know that there would be even more wind, rain and even snow, to slow them down so much!

You might recall in previous years, me bemoaning our magnolia trees lack of flowers, after its 10 years! So much so that I had threatened to get rid of it, then low and behold in autumn, signs of many more buds than we have ever had before, at least 50, beating its previous record of 13 hands down, needless to say, its got a reprieve, and is looking rater pretty this afternoon with the brighter skies.

The grass has hardly grown at all, many of the daffs are still not fully open, hopefully the forecast from mid week onwards will entice them!

Hubs just watched his team on tv, it was looking good, but sadly not the outocme he was hoping for :-/ He has gone out to the greenhouse to plant up some potatoes!

I have back blipped the rest of our holiday now, if you can spare a couple of minutes, please take a quick look.

Normal service has now been resumed, hope to catch up on all your journals shortly.
