Heather Beds

The heather is in full bloom now and covered with honey bees.  The head does not belong to someone buried in the garden (as suggested by a blipfriend last time I showed it!), but to a sculpture of Buddha:-)

Almost warm enough to do some gardening today, so TJ did a bit of weeding and I wandered around taking pictures.  It needs to be a lot warmer for me to work out there!  Lots of daffodils appearing now and a few other brave plants, but they are all very slow this year and who can blame them?

Managed to persuade a local charity shop to take most of the books I sorted out yesterday, although they couldn't take them all.  The first one we tried said they often had to pulp hardbacks!  Sacrilege!!
