Birthday Boy

A special day in our family calendar as we celebrated a 14th birthday.

There seemed rather too much emphasis on favourite food choices on reflection, pancakes for breakfast, home made (and decorated with friends) pizza for lunch, sweets and popcorn at the cinema and finally Nando's for tea and then cake at home.

Apparently it was far too "embarrassing" to have cake and sing happy birthday at the restaurant - that's 14 year olds for you! I felt quite sad.
