GENEVA (back blip)
The other day, I went to Geneva to visit a museum where they were showing an exhibition of a well-known Swiss artist who is famous for his landscapes of beautiful mountains and lakes, besides other things.
It's always interesting to visit another town along the lake and Geneva is famous for it's very high fountain. Strong engines pump 500 litres of water a second to a height of 140 metres. It has become Geneva's symbol. I took this photo from the long bridge called: Pont du Mont Blanc. On the other side, it's lovely to see the Flower Clock (l'Horloge Fleurie) and beyond that, visit the Jardin anglais (English Garden) which I don't show here. You can just see a pink magnolia coming into bloom behind the second extra of the clock. The flower decoration in extras is all done in colourful pansies!
