April is dressed in yellow

When I think of early April, I think of the colour yellow! First the daffodils and now the Forsythia. These shots were taken in the morning sunshine this morning. There are four Forsythia plants that run along the entrance to my building. They have been rather badly over-trimmed by the town 'gardeners' and so the gorgeous blossoms haven't been allowed to spread out, so taking photos fairly close to the bushes works best!
