Corylus Avellana Contorta

Better known as 'Harry Lauder's Walking Stick'.
It seems to have shot up over the winter - mind you, winter seems to have lasted at least two years.

It was a nice morning so Jay was taken out to explore in the garden ....... not that he was happy about it.
Tough!
While he was complaining I went round and took some pictures of the buds that are actually appearing (have a look around here ......the weird moss covered thing used to be a shelter for insects).

Grand Prix, Olympics (didn't the English netball girls do well?) and turning.
Oh - and collecting my laptop from Bag's house.
