Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 61
Hounding the surf this morning ... this creature streaked past me clearly on a long distance canine mission. ( at first I thought I was about to be eaten alive! )
Out in the bay bobbing on the top left of this blip is one of the largest bulk carriers I have yet seen on this coast. Her name is Maersk Hakone and she displaces 160000 tons when full of Scottish oil from Hound Point. She is a long way from her Singaporean home this morning.
